Chris Packham interacts with a 7ft long lifelike model of a Swallowtail Caterpillar and a Hornet at the launch of Big Bugs on Tour at intu Lakeside, which is a year-long initiative designed to reconnect people with nature. The bugs have been created following research that found being closer to nature makes you 67 per cent happier, yet one in six children haven’t seen a single bug in six months, one in ten kids don’t know honey came from bees, and one in four parents can’t tell the difference between a bee and a wasp. The tour will be visiting 13 intu centres nationwide over the next year. Photo credit should read: Matt Alexander/intu
